Meet Our Staff: Kimberly Adsit A.K.A “Kimpossible”

Position: Business Manager for all three locations

Where are you from originally? 

Conneaut Lake, PA

When did you start working at Vision Source Meadville? 

In 1996 when Chris and I opened the practice!

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my family, music – any way I can be involved in it! Also cooking and designing my house (or anyone else’s if they’ll let me haha!).

What is your favorite task during the workday?

Being able to connect with the staff. I love having the opportunity to understand them and relate to them and their personal lives. It’s really cool to have relationships due to being in business together. I also love seeing patients we’ve had for years and years and catching up with them!

Who is someone you aspire to be like and why?

In all humility – Jesus. How he treats people is how I want to treat people. I want to see others the way he sees them and give them his love.

Where would your ideal vacation be?

The Maldives – you know, in one of those huts that are out over the ocean. That would be so cool. My other top pick is someday going to Iceland to see the Northern Lights.

What’s your favorite place to go/ thing to do in our community?

I love to go out for dinner – especially to places that have live music. I like trying new things and I never eat the same thing twice at a restaurant – I don’t want to miss out on experiencing something delicious!

What do you feel is your greatest strength that you bring to the workplace?

Probably my enthusiasm and my ability to connect to people. I so believe in what we’re doing and why, and I love to share that excitement with our employees, patients, and community.

Name one exciting thing about your life right now:

Our kids are in a really cool place in life right now – our son Aaron is a freshman in college, and our daughter Hannah is a senior in high school. They’re on the cusp of their lives – watching them become a young man and woman is really exciting.

What is the best thing about working at Vision Source Meadville LLC?

The fact that Chris and I get to do all of life together. We know God has purposed us to do this very thing with our lives. We understand where we’re going now and in the future and there is both responsibility and huge fulfillment in that.
